SWIMMING FUN

We went swimming on the 4th of July with the borrowmans and the bangs. We had so much fun. Livs LOVED it. She floated around in a pool toy while mom and dad played with her.

FIRST CAMPING TRIP AS A FAMILY.

Our ward had a Campout a few weeks ago. We thought it would be fun taking Olivia, setting up the tent, and camping out for the night. Oh were we right! She had a blast the whole time we were there :D We played with water balloons, ate yummy food, and watched a movie under the stars. Her favorite part was being in the tent. We set up a pack-n-play and put her in it while we set up the rest of the bed. She was in pure heaven. Laughing, jumping up and down, and waving to everyone who past while she was in there. She found out crawling around the tent was even better.

Josh was the best setting up the tent and putting it all away again. How did I find such a cute guy?!!!

Night time was fun. I got super cold so I figured Livi was cold too. So I pulled her in bed with me. She slept great.... me..... not so much!  Josh informed me the next morning he was super warm all night long, even a little too warm. He slept as good as livi did.... pssshhh. Oh well nap for me when we get home!!!

MISCHIEVOUS GIRL OF MINE

It seems as of late my whole day is spent following Olivia around trying to keep her out of the things she shouldn't be in. Sometimes she gets into them anyways:D She knows to wait until moms hands are in the dishwater or while she is vacuuming or something else.

 Her absolute favorite is to get into Suki's food and tip over the water, dump the food, and proceed to eat her food. I was okay with this, I would stop her, but it was no big deal until i found out what really is in dog food.... 

YUCK!!!

 Did I say her favorite was dog food? Well its also taking the toilet paper off the roll and unrolling it and eating it! It would be fine if i could just roll it back up and put it back, But no... She has to take huge chunks out of the side ruining the whole roll.

Have I told you Olivia that I love you?!

 Next one caught on camera ( you do PLENTY more thats not always captured for life ) Mom just left the fridge open while she got out eggs and cracked them... NO BIGGIE she just grabs the butter and eats it, wrapper and all ( i'm seeing a trend of you eating anything and EVERYTHING!).

 I don't even know how the last one happened. Mom's doing dishes, Turns around to you just standing on the chair. You have NEVER been able to climb onto a chair and haven't been able to do it since... so who knows how you accomplished this one. You just stood there smiling at me like you were so proud of what you just did. I thought it was cute grabbed the camera and took pictures then returned to dishes. 

 When you get really quite and grunt, you are either pooping or doing something you don't want mom to know about yet. Once you accomplish what you want to, you make a loud peeping laugh just to get mom's attention so I can see what you have done. Needless to say I turned at the peeping laugh and you were on the table getting moms flowers:D You make me laugh!

10 MONTHS

So sad... she fell and cut her lip pretty bad :(

Crazy Eyes!

I feel so bad about not taking her 9 month pictures:( Guess i'll have to find one I took and just use that.

So Livi,
YOU ARE A BLAST!!!!! So much fun to be around. You have me laughing at you constantly and I love seeing what you come up with next! Your a crazy active little girl who thinks she can and will do anything. I love it.

Here are some of my favorite things your doing now:
* you stand up and hold on to the couch while practically running down it and get almost anywhere you want walking by transfering your hold onto another object.
*Climb onto the fire place and grab all my decorations. you love our wedding picture that sits on it.
* If I ask where Mom's eyes are. You happily jab your finger into my eye and laugh at yourself for finding it. I in turn clap and say " yeah Livi! good job!" and you LOVE that. Sometimes you'll poke my eyes out and look at me waiting for the clapping!
* Biggest cuddle bug in the world! you have to have me hold you and cuddle you for at least 30-45 min in the morning before you'll get down and play on your own. I hope this never ends.
* you eat almost anything. Grandpa Borrowman is so proud that you eat and LOVE fish:) some of your other favorites are cheese tortallini, spaghetti, oatmeal or cream of wheat, crackers of all kinds, ice cream and your new favorite is your sippy cup with juice or milk in it:)
* climbs into chairs. we have a red dish like chair that you'll climb into and sit and play for up to an hour by yourself:)
* you always want to be outside with dad helping him with his car stuff... you'll climb out the door down the steps and find a tool to help bang around and get all greasy and dirty until mom can no longer stand the black hands, legs, and clothes.
* when your not crawling on carpet you do this elephant walk that I think is so cute.... ( see picture )

* you have taken 2-3 steps before but refuse to do it very often.
* if your standing up to something I'll put toys or treats in both hands and you'll let go and just stand there not holding on to anything, but as soon as you realize i've tricked you... you sit down right away:D
* MY FAVORITE... you sleep through the night and have for a couple of months. to bed at 8 up at 7:30!
* you have 4 teeth on top and still just the two on the bottom.... i have a feeling more are coming here soon. You've been acting kinda fussy.
* Your starting to let mom leave you ( if she will ) you've stayed with grandma and grandpa meacham once and didn't cry at all! ( I have left you only 3 or 4 times total since you've been born... i think mom has attachment issues :P  )
* still give big open mouth tongue out kisses.
* will not for the life of you let us change your diaper. HUGE tantrums and then you get away. I dread when I feel you have a wet diaper!!!!! thus the next pictures. Diaper change get-a-way to your favorite place.... the fireplace!

too much for a blog?

Anywho: Livs, Livi, Schmivi, Schmiv, Awiia, Baby, Oh Livia ( said with brittish accent) and even liv schmiv boliv; We love you so freakin much! Your our whole world and can't believe in a month and a couple of weeks you'll be one years old!!!!! Best year of our lives so far!

HE'S A DAD.

 And the very best one:) I'll admit.... I had a hard time picturing Josh as a Dad before we had Olivia. As soon as we found out, He was the one who was SOOOO excited. It took me by surprise. That second was when he became the best Father. He would read her books while she was still in my tummy:) Talk to her and couldn't wait to see her.

As soon as she came into this world, She had him wrapped around her finger:) He will do anything and everything for this little girl!

 They love to be together.... as soon as he walks in the door she is happy as can be and crawls as fast as she can to get to him!

Josh, You are the BEST Dad any little girl could ask for. Thanks for all the smiles and laughter you get from her! We both love you sooo much! Livi is dying to type something for you.... here she is!

Happy Fathers Day, Dad!

Hey Dad:)

I thought that today, because I don't get to see you, I would write you a psotl and tell you that I hope you have a WONDERFUL Fathers Day!

You are the best Dad in the whole wide world. You have taught me so many things and done so many things that I know I want to pass on to my family.
(Here are just some.)

I want to be the one who takes my kids on one on one trip to disneyland!
I want to make talking about the gospel fun, so they want to stay up talking to me about it.
I want to be the one who when they rip the antana off the car, I just smile and give them a hug.
I want them to love being in the kitchen cooking with me and be amazed when I make the bread water bubble:)
I want to greet them with a smile, hug, and a kiss EVERY time I see them.
I want to tell them they are beautiful and make them feel as special as you make me feel.
I want to stay outside on the porch with them and talk about anything and everything until the sun goes down.

You are such a great dad. You make people feel like they are so special to you. I still to this day swear I am you favorite daughter! Sometimes you tell dumb jokes and we only laugh because your laughing so hard! You always taught us everything about the gospel, but the biggest impact on me was that you lived the gospel. I always have and always will love talking to you. I love the way you always treated our mother with love and respect, and made sure we did too:) Always held her hand and showed us that you loved her. It made me feel loved to see you treat her that way.

Thanks for being the best Father to all 8 kids! And more important, thanks for being one of my best friends, someone who makes me laugh when I cry, and the Man and Father that I love:) You truly are the best Dad in the whole wide world!

TIME MOVES TO FAST.

This past couple of weeks it seems as though Olivia has completely changed. She is no longer my little baby that I brought home from the hospital. She has a personality all of her own and she loves it! I looked through the pictures I had of the day she was born while she was asleep yesterday and I can't believe she was ever that small and QUIET!!! I feel bad that I miss holding that sleeping baby ALL DAY LONG... but I am also loving this child she is growing to be:) She is getting to be so funny and more independent. She smiles at me and gives me the cheesiest grin and it melts my heart! How did time go so fast? I feel like it was just yesterday Josh and I Welcomed her into our arms and hearts. 3 more months and she will be a YEAR OLD!!!!
Olivia, I love you more than anything else in this world. Everyday I get to be home with you is the best day ever! Even though I miss my little baby...  you help remind me when you come and climb on my lap and just hug me for 30 min everyday:) It's like you know I never want you to grow up and your comforting me! You are so sweet, mom loves you :*
