HE'S A DAD.

 And the very best one:) I'll admit.... I had a hard time picturing Josh as a Dad before we had Olivia. As soon as we found out, He was the one who was SOOOO excited. It took me by surprise. That second was when he became the best Father. He would read her books while she was still in my tummy:) Talk to her and couldn't wait to see her.

As soon as she came into this world, She had him wrapped around her finger:) He will do anything and everything for this little girl!

 They love to be together.... as soon as he walks in the door she is happy as can be and crawls as fast as she can to get to him!

Josh, You are the BEST Dad any little girl could ask for. Thanks for all the smiles and laughter you get from her! We both love you sooo much! Livi is dying to type something for you.... here she is!

Happy Fathers Day, Dad!

Hey Dad:)

I thought that today, because I don't get to see you, I would write you a psotl and tell you that I hope you have a WONDERFUL Fathers Day!

You are the best Dad in the whole wide world. You have taught me so many things and done so many things that I know I want to pass on to my family.
(Here are just some.)

I want to be the one who takes my kids on one on one trip to disneyland!
I want to make talking about the gospel fun, so they want to stay up talking to me about it.
I want to be the one who when they rip the antana off the car, I just smile and give them a hug.
I want them to love being in the kitchen cooking with me and be amazed when I make the bread water bubble:)
I want to greet them with a smile, hug, and a kiss EVERY time I see them.
I want to tell them they are beautiful and make them feel as special as you make me feel.
I want to stay outside on the porch with them and talk about anything and everything until the sun goes down.

You are such a great dad. You make people feel like they are so special to you. I still to this day swear I am you favorite daughter! Sometimes you tell dumb jokes and we only laugh because your laughing so hard! You always taught us everything about the gospel, but the biggest impact on me was that you lived the gospel. I always have and always will love talking to you. I love the way you always treated our mother with love and respect, and made sure we did too:) Always held her hand and showed us that you loved her. It made me feel loved to see you treat her that way.

Thanks for being the best Father to all 8 kids! And more important, thanks for being one of my best friends, someone who makes me laugh when I cry, and the Man and Father that I love:) You truly are the best Dad in the whole wide world!

TIME MOVES TO FAST.

This past couple of weeks it seems as though Olivia has completely changed. She is no longer my little baby that I brought home from the hospital. She has a personality all of her own and she loves it! I looked through the pictures I had of the day she was born while she was asleep yesterday and I can't believe she was ever that small and QUIET!!! I feel bad that I miss holding that sleeping baby ALL DAY LONG... but I am also loving this child she is growing to be:) She is getting to be so funny and more independent. She smiles at me and gives me the cheesiest grin and it melts my heart! How did time go so fast? I feel like it was just yesterday Josh and I Welcomed her into our arms and hearts. 3 more months and she will be a YEAR OLD!!!!
Olivia, I love you more than anything else in this world. Everyday I get to be home with you is the best day ever! Even though I miss my little baby...  you help remind me when you come and climb on my lap and just hug me for 30 min everyday:) It's like you know I never want you to grow up and your comforting me! You are so sweet, mom loves you :*

TIME FOR AN UPDATE.

I got kinda behind on blogging.... My little bebe is keeping me pretty busy now that she can crawl! Looking back its be awhile since I have done a post not about Liv's month marks.

Here is what is happening at our home.

Josh is busy working. He still works as an Intern Engineer for Smead Manufacturing. He is loving coming home and working outside. Our nights are pretty much all spent working in the yard and enjoying the amazing Parowan weather. He is working on his car and motorcycle when ever he finds a chance to sneak outside :) I'm always impressed at how good of a job he does fixing up his old things! When we do keep him inside.... there is a certain little girl who will not leave his side. She absolutely adores her dad. He came in from work wearing his helmet that covered his head and she just stared at him. When he took it of she gave a little laugh and dove out of my arms and crawled as fast as she could to get to him. He is an AMAZING Dad to her! He is starting a garden outside for us!!! I can't wait for fresh veggies!!!

Olivia is figuring out so many things! A week before she turned 8 months, that little baby learned how to crawl. I don't think anyone could ever be as happy with the new discovery as she is. She loves that she can now be by my side at ALL TIMES :D When she comes around the corner into the room I am in.... she gets the biggest smile and crawls faster to get to me. Her favorite part about crawling is getting into all the things she has wanted to. Suki's dog food, the garbage, cords and outlets ( don't worry i'm working on baby proofing the house!). I guess the day she learned to crawl she also learned to pull herself up onto almost anything! And consequently, I will hear lots of cries from the fallen girl. In the middle of the night she will cry a funny cry that i've never heard. When I go in, it's from standing up and not being able to get back to sleep. She sleeps from 8 to 7:30-9. HEAVEN! She loves outside and being out there with her dad as they work on the garden. Say's MAM all the time, Sssssh, Bap, and aaaahaaaahaaaahh ( I think she's trying to sing:) ). Gives me slobbery kisses and climbs on me as her favorite toy.

Me..... I'm just enjoying every moment I can. I'm so lucky to be able to stay home and be with Olivia. When the house work is done and livi is down for a nap, I've gotten sucked into the Vampire Diaries (don't judge until you watch it.... Josh even really likes it). I'm working at getting better at sewing and cooking. My attitude with living here in Parowan in getting much better. I think being cooped up with the baby all winter long really was hard. But now that its warm, we go outside and play and get some good vitamin D in us. It definitely  has made Josh and I so much closer. Before I moved out of town my sister told me it would be the best thing anyone could do for there marriage. And it most definitely has been the best thing. We rely on each other. Not that he wasn't before but he is my absolute best friend in the whole world. So I guess i'm coming to love our HOME in parowan:) Only good has come from being here!!! (part of the attitude change might be because we have a pest guys who comes every month to keep the spiders away!!)

7 MONTH OLD LIVI

I know, I'm horrible at getting her month pictures taken. Olivia turned 7 months on the 10 April :) SOO, I will be doing 8 month here soon! We just wen't out into our front yard today and she played while I snapped some pictures.

Hmmm Livi.... No other way to describe her other than BUSY! out of the hundred something pictures I took. I think I maybe got 15 or 16 where she was looking at me. Most of the time she was finding grass, rocks, twigs, and flowers to put into her mouth!
* she laughs a lot!
* Loves to grab ANYTHING.
* Said mamma first!
* Tooth 3 cut through the top
* Can push herself backwards on her tummy.
* Scruntches up her nose and breathes out of it fast. Makes me laugh so hard. she'll squint her eyes while doing it.
* MOVER! rolls scoots and pushes herself all around the room.
* Fell off of the bed because of this. I was even right there... she was just to fast!
* Same day she fell off of the bed, pulled my heavy quizel lamp onto us from the floor. I have a HUGE bruise on my arm from this:)
* Eats almost anything I do if I grind it up in her food grinder. so she loves spaghetti!
* Drinks out of a straw.
* LOVES Suki. I help her hold Suki's toys while she pulls on the end and Livi will laugh and laugh!
* Becoming quite the mamma's girl. Loves people as long as I am in the room.

     I can't tell you how much We love you Olivia! You are getting quite the personality and I LOVE it:)
You love to snuggle into mom right now when you get tired and you will give me BIG open mouth kisses. You laugh when Dad will come kiss me right in front of your face and you will do all you can to get your face in there to. We usually end up kissing both of your cheeks and you think its the greatest.

You are also getting to figure out that if you cry over what you want, You will most likely get it :)

FIRST SWIM

We took Olivia swimming for the very first time 3 weeks ago. SHE LOVED IT! She loved splashing and moving around in the water. I don't know who had more fun, Josh or Olivia :) I love seeing Josh enjoy the time he gets to spend with her. He is such a great Dad. We loved swimming but the shock of the cold wind and snow coming out was a little much for me. I think we'll be waiting to swim again until its warm!
