PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

For Christmas this year Josh got me tickets to see The Phantom Of The Opera!!! The seats were great, 4th row. The actors would come and stand right in front of us or right on the side so we could see them PERFECT. In the beginning the chandelier was sitting on the stage and it was amazing when it came together. The singers voices were incredible..... I cant imagine being able to sing that well. I think the thing that was most amazing about the show was all the special affects and the way they used the props... The Phantom would show up in the middle of the show hanging out of the middle of the chandelier with one hand and swing around.. real fireworks going off in the middle of the show.. and the masquerade scene was pretty sweet as well! If anyone has a chance I would very highly recommend this show.

I cant believe how much I have learned about the camera this last semister! I did find however, that I am more partial to the digital SLR rather than your film SLR. I was just playing around editing some of the pictures I took and thought this one of Gage was cute. Janae is going to let me test my skills out on her darling girls this week to see if I really learned anything in that class... so maybe i'll do a little better at posting and show you the pictures when i am done. by the way...... sorry about my lame posting abilities...... i have no other excuse but that i have a SUPER boring life and theres not much to post about!

Mom.... as sad as I am that your not here so I can come and jump on your bed this morning and tell you HAPPY BIRTHDAY!, I still wanted to tell you that I hope you have a great day and that your the best Mother and best friend any person could EVER hope for. BABY KOEN AND JESSICAS DARK HAIR

So I know this is a little late in coming.... but here is my new nephew KOEN!!!! he is so dang cute... i just love him to pieces.My favorite thing he does (you can see in the bottom left corner) is when you go to kiss him he puckers his lips and kisses you back! I tried this about 15 times to see if it just happen to be that way.... NOPE one time he had his lips all sucked in and whiped out that pucker when i kissed him!!!! Today BreeAnn also had her baby.. they sent me a picture on my phone and I already can tell he is going to be a heartbreaker :) They named him Barry!


Two weeks ago we dyed Jessicas hair dark brown! She looks amazing with it. I must say i have beautiful sisters! It was really hard for me to cover up her georgeous blond highlights... she had to talk real fancy.... a couple of times in order to persuade me but i am glad she did!

The Birdie Sling by Amy Butler!!!!!!! it is so stinkin cute. Tonight we got all of our fabric and interfacing cut out and man, was it a job. We'll take pictures next time and post our finishing product.

Ok so its nothing new that i LOVE halloween!!!! Everything about the month of October makes me so happy. Everytime I walk outside i want to stay there and blissfully take in the cool air and the beautifully green, yellow and red yards.! It seems to me that people are just generally happier during this month.... dont you think? So as I sit here thinking of happy things.... I am going to make a list of things that make me want to smile... laugh.... and altogher make me happy!

ESPANA

Here are some pictures from Spain. We had so much fun. We got to visit Madrid, Segovia, Valencia, Toledo and we stayed in azuqueca ( a. thu. cake. uh). I loved the people we met and stayed with.... ate way to much food... and spent way to much on cute H&M clothes (most of which are jackets and i cant wear them yet :( ) The cathedrials gave me the creeps and the Temple was AMAZING. I think the beach was probably my favorite place we went.
The weather never got past 72 and was perfect for walking all the little streets and visiting the shops along the side. The streets were very picturesque..... only big enough to fit one little smart car and had little shops lining the streets.

Although the trip was super fun and I loved everyminute I was there... it was so nice to drive into St. George at night and see the Temple all lit up!

ONE WEEK AND COUNTING!!!

Only one week until we fly off to Spain! Well 6 days if you count today as pretty much over.... and 5 if you don't count the day we leave :D Needless to say mom and dad are SOOOO excited and can hardly stand it. Which i am super excited for them to be able to go and finally prove to them that going to a different country is going to be SO much better than their cruises (maybe not cheaper, but most definitely better).

So I know its been awhile since I have posted anything. And lucky people, of all the things I have done since my last post you get to read about............

MY FIRST COLD SORE!!!!!! ba bada duh!!
i have realized two things about myself that i would not have minded to never have known.

1- i am mean
2- i am also a baby

I would first off like to apoligize to Jessica. In the years that I have known Jess, she has had the misfortune of getting one or two( or every other week) LOVLEY cold sores. I, in turn, was not very nice. Now when I say not very nice let me expound.
Classic conversation with me and jess when she has a nasty(i lied about the lovely part) cold sore:

k "um of course they will look so cute"
j "STOP STARING AT MY COLD SORE!!!"

seriously i would stare..... a lot, laugh, poke fun at, and make her feel kinda crappy about having one. Now in my defence i did not realize how horrible they were. At the time I thought it was wildley funny to not look at anything else while she talked to me and slowly get closer with a disgusted but intrigued face. ha ha ha just thinking about it makes the evil monster inside of me happy.

Now... about the being a baby part. I am SURE most of you know about this. I was completley freaking out. I would stick my face in others faces to show them the nasty on me and ask how much longer in thier opinion did they think it would last. I hardly talked about much else and complained very loudly. My fingers wanted to feel what was going on...... so of course my first one was huge (* note to self... dont touch them again.... EVER) and i was in the bathroom looking at it non stop trying to will it with my mind to go away. It was horrible.

I have learned two important things from this....... Never Ever make fun of others... it comes back around and i am SOOOO glad i was the one being so annoying.. i could not have stood it and in turn would probably say something mean ( oh look! point of me being mean seconed).... really mean

HOT AUGUST NIGHTS

We had so much fun looking at all the old cars. My favorite was the '67 Ford Mustang coupe! They are the most beautiful of all cars.
Most of our time was spent going to different show and shines at various places.... but once we got to go to a car mesuem... it pretty much was my favorite. I also loved when they got in the cars and drove them by you at night... kinda like a parade (yes... I loved this because i got to see the cars but not walk FOR EV ER).

She is such a cute little baby. They said she weighed 6 pounds and 19" long! Congratulations Nick and Megan!!

Cute little Annie LOVED getting her picture taken. I walked up into the playroom to see if any of the young ones would volunteer. Annie jumped up and followed me outside. After I had taken one or two she wanted to do more :) She was such a doll. Thanks Emma for letting me bother you whilst you ate your watermelon! She would look at me and say "no more kensi" but I kept going! Lexi is just plain ol photogenic.

Now mind that they are kids..... and have dirty faces! Thats what I love most about the photos!

A BLANK MIND AND A LOT OF TIME

Well my dear friends and family... I have loved looking at all of your blogs. I have come to realize that I now know why I never have anything to blog about. I see everyone a lot and I have a big mouth so anything and everything interesting about my life you all aready know! I get to excited to tell you that when I go to blog about it I realize there would be none who would be surprised.

I figured even though I have no pictures and not a cool story to tell, blogging must still go on. So here is where you all find out that I have nothing new to post!!!!!!

My life as of now is GREAT. I am happy.... more than happy!

I am making a new quilt (which most of you have heard and more than most of you have seen it layed out!). It is taking me a while to get the courage to actually start sewing the thing.

I am now looking around my room and realizing that I have to many clothes that I dont wear, pictures from high school still up, and not much has changed in the last two years.

My car is paid off and it feels WONDERFUL to make money and have it go into the bank where i can use it on anything i want.

My goal that I am working on now.... Finish reading the Infinate Atonement. So far I have really enjoyed it. I feel very grateful for everything by the time I close my eyes at night and its a great note to close on.

I had a BLAST at our family reunion. I love seeing all of our family together (we missed you jess and chris). My favorite was the day we went 4wheeling by ryan and lil's then played games and ate a yummy dinner.... i have had the phrase " a signs hex piera mint" floating around in my head and i really wish it would leave :)

See I told you this is all something you have heard :) but non the less there is my post for the moment.

This is the BEST blog i have ever been to. I have also I have decided I am a modern country style. I love white..... bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms.... they are so awesome with colors! anyways this is a super fun blog to read. Be careful that you have time to look through it though... I spent forever on it :)

This book was AMAzING! I think I liked it much better than the Twlight series... The host was full of suprise, wit, suspense, and I loved the whole plot of the book. Completly different than anything I have read! Anyone who has not read it; I would HIGHLEY reccomend it!!!!

wow that was hard

FIRST TRIP TO THE LAKE THIS YEAR!!

I forgot my camera.. dang it. I had all thies cute little poses i was planning on makeing everyone do (i.e. *me standing on the wave runner.. bootie tooched back to make it look smaller and thus makeing me look great in a swimming suit,
*me frollicking in the sand, building a sandcastle... or getting burried in it,
*Me running along the beach in an action shot..kinda like baywatch
* ME smiling and having a gay old time
* and maybe some of the others who came.... but honestly this is for my blog so i would only post the latter ;)

We had a blast. Nick and Megan invited me to go to the lake yesterday, so i in turn invited Josh and the four of us went to have a great time. I was a little nervous before we went about the water not being warm enough yet and me freezing my but off. My fears were confermed when we back the wave runners in and i put my little pinkie toe in to test the water. IT WAS FREEZING!! I would'nt even get out of the truck to ride it over so Parked the trailer and drove the truck over.
Nick Megan and I went out first to try the wake board out. The water was a little choppy and Nick still did very well. Seeing how megan cant wake board because of her cute little belly... that ment my cold water fear had to be put to rest and I had to suck it up and just jump in. Nick said it was fine and actually became warm while you were in there (Nick was also wearing a wet suit). WOW... it was cold. NO... cold doesn't really describe it. It was like jumping into an over size cup of ICE water. After catching my breath I got up on my first try!!! Also i did a 180! And also, to my surprise, the water was quite injoyable! I didnt mind it one bit. Josh stayed up FOR EV ER on the ski's and did a great job, Megan was a great driver!

Things I have forgotten since last year and wished i would have remembered.
- Dont put sunscreen in just some spots..... you end up looking like a dork!
- Sunburns really do hurt.... a lot
- Dont touch your arm, leg, back, or any other part of your body with a the hand you put sunscreen on with... you get hand prints.
- The sun drains your energy
- And last but no least..... The lovely music and the scantaly dressed girls from the boats on both sides of you!

FREE!!

I have always wondered how people get free things all the time. Cool free things non the less. Me... i will occasionaly get those little things at the harmons yearly festivle like floss and visors. But how do people get nice stuff?

I will tell you!!!

This last month or so i have signed up for this thing called e rewards. They send you survays and you get online money that can go to things. I figured out the system.... they want people who have lots of power in a buisness and can make decisions (those survays get you the most money.. $16 compared to $0.50) so i use my "purchacse agent" role in the store to my advantage! i got my free american eagle gift card a couple days ago for 25$... YEAH!!!
Monte carlo fans also has rewards... this is my delehma..... I always wanted to get the Wii but its is temp not an option (at least i hope its temp) or i have enough points to pretty much get anything i want... digital camera, i pod touch, small tv, or this...
with a free game as well! so do i hope the wii comes back... or get this?

ANNIE AND LEXI!

I had to put these pictures up... Annie and Lexi got into the mascara in my bathroom. Annie came out to show us her pretty make-up and we all started to laugh then realized if that much was on her face how much was spred everywhere. We came into find that Lexi had also put some on. I have High hopes for Lexi.... she is conservetive with her make up and will do well in the future.... annie might end up being a hooker!!! ;) But hey at least she got it on the eyes like she was suppose to!

CAMPING IN OAK GROVE

The name of this palce was very misleading. When you hear the name Oak Grove does it not lead you to believe you will be camping in..... oh maybe... a grove of oaks? The whole way up to the camp site i kept asking josh where the oak grove was. He would then tell me to be patient it was coming up. Along the way i would see a little cluster of them off in the distance (that was only once) but for the most part it was bushes and desert trees/bigger bushes. Me and Josh rode up in his VW bus AKA his bedroom/kitchen/entertainment/anything you could think of room!!! It was a lot of fun bouncing our way up. About two minutes before we get to the campsite (mind you we had no idea how far it was then) the bus broke and axel (or so i think). The rode was only big enough for one car and we were broke down in the middle. So of course a car that was no where in site before comes along behind us....... then a big truck with a trailor! We made them back down the hill until we found a spot where we could pull over. Josh amazingly made the bus run with two bolts instead of the 8 it needed and we made it to the CAMP OUT!!!!

With lots of the family there we had very good food, lots of fun, several cars that needed fixing after, warm places to sleep, and memories that will touch our hearts for years to come. I can still feel the warmth in my heart to this very night. ;)

Thanks Chris and Jessica for getting everyone together for this fun night! And yes this is Emma flipping everyone off!

MY NEW TOY!!!

So i have decided that it is really hard to come up with posts about yourself. Now you my friends have children, spouses, homes, pets, and did i say SUPER funny children that you all may blog about. I on the other hand have only the life of Myself, Me, and oh!..... My new Laptop!!!!

Yes i did it... now i had a really hard time choosing between this and our lovely Mac Book. After doing much reesearch and learning how to spell the word :) i have decided upon my Sony VAIO! I loved the look of this one... the LCD screen and the fact that i already know how to use windows. The new version of Vista is out and most people love it... it has more options for photoing and whatnot.... so this is the one that i got.. not to mention it looks awesome!

Now the other thing i had a really hard time with was wether to get PINK!!!! or another color. After talking to my darling sister jessica (who said i would be LAME if i got pink and would never been seen with me again) decided to go with the Beautiful white!

It really is hard coming up with things to talk about yourself :) so i buy cool toys! I built it to how i wanted... and they will ship it in two weeks!!!!

MAMMA MIA!
